In June 2023, Alfallah and Pacino welcomed a baby boy, Roman Pacino, into the world. A rep for Pacino confirmed to PEOPLE in late May 2023 that the actor and his girlfriend were expecting their first child together.

“Al loves being a father and always has. He is excited,” a source told PEOPLE following the big news. “Being a parent is and always was an important part of Al’s life.”

In a March 2024 interview with Vogue Arabia, Alfallah said that Roman is “a thousand times better than what I ever thought he would be.” She also talked about what it has been like raising Roman while combining her own culture with Pacino’s.

“I think that there are a lot of similarities between Italians and Arabs. And because he’s an Italian Arab, I think he’s for sure going to be a soccer player. No, I’m just kidding. I don’t know. He can be whatever he wants to be,” she said, adding, “His dad, of course, wants him to be whoever he wants to be…I think acting is in his genes though.”
