Method 6: Run the SFC command

Step 1: Open CMD and run it as administrator.

Step 7: Select the ‘Change Icon’ button under the ‘Shortcut’ tab of the Properties box.

Step 8: Select an icon from the list of alternatives or search for an icon file of your own to use as your shortcut.

Step 9: Click OK to apply the changes, then click Apply and OK again to close the Properties window.

You need to just double-click on that and your system is going to automatically shut down. If this is not fixing your problem, there is some issue with your Windows.

Method 9: Perform System Restore Point

Step 1: Open the search box, type ‘Restore,’ and Click on Create a restore point to open it.

Step 2: Click Next under Restore system files and settings.

Step 3: Select System Restore from the System Protection menu.
