Age limit of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)
Students must be below the age of 18 years for the SA stream (students studying in Class 11) and below the age of 20 years for the SX/SB stream (students studying in Class 12 or first-year undergraduate program).
Nationality: Students must be citizens of India.
The selection process for the KVPY scholarship is highly competitive and involves an aptitude test and an interview. The aptitude test is conducted in November each year and consists of multiple-choice questions in subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. The interview is conducted in December or January, and students are evaluated on their aptitude for research, communication skills, and overall potential as a researcher.
