BTS Military Service Duration
The standard mandatory military service in South Korea is 18-21 months. However, in BTS’s case, the duration depends on the member and their specific role:
- Standard Service (18-21 months): This applies to J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook. They can expect to serve the full duration.
- Alternative Service: Suga’s military service differed due to health reasons. He will complete his mandatory service as a public service worker, which typically has a similar length to traditional service (around 18-21 months).
