People who have least strong passports generally come from politically unstable countries and from countries that are war related which make them face several problems and some of those problems are:
- People who want to travel the world must have a visa otherwise they are not allowed to enter that country, which is very expensive and time consuming.
- People with the least strong passport takes a long time to get their visa completed.
- These people will find it difficult to attend international seminars and gain opportunities.

Most powerful passport 2024: Passports significantly influence the ease with which their holders can cross borders and explore new horizons in international travel. The Henley Passport Index, created by immigration consultancy firm Henley & Partners, provides a score based on the percentage of global GDP each passport offers to its holders. This tool is useful for business travelers, investors, and emigration planning. However, it also highlights the growing economic inequality and wealth disparity.
The Henley Passport Index ranks countries based on their citizens’ travel freedom, highlighting the most powerful passports. This Global Passport Index 2024 is determined by data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA), which maintains the most extensive database of travel information worldwide. Nigerian passport holders can access only 46 destinations visa-free, accounting for only 1.5% of global GDP. The lowest-ranking entry is the Afghan passport, which offers visa-free access to 27 countries and less than 1% of global economic output.
