The chief minister is the head of governance and administration of Madhya Pradesh. They are the head of the state government and chairs the Council of Ministers. Dr. Mohan Yadav is the current chief minister of Madhya Pradesh since 13 December 2023. Dr. Mohan Yadav currently represents Ujjain South constituency as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh since 2013. He will be now serving as the 19th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
