CTET Cut Off Marks 2024: Stages
CTET is a single-day examination comprising two segments: Paper I and Paper II. Both papers are mandatory and need to be attempted consecutively on the same day.
Qualifying Criteria for CTET Paper 1: This section consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) totaling 150 marks. A duration of 2.5 hours is allocated for this paper, covering areas such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and two compulsory languages. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, and no negative marking applies. This paper is applicable to classes 1st to 5th.
Qualifying Criteria for CTET Paper 2: Similarly, this section involves MCQs totaling 150 marks. A time span of 2.5 hours is designated for this paper, encompassing questions on Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science, Environmental Studies, Social Studies, and two compulsory languages. Each correct response fetches 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. This paper is applicable to classes 6th to 8th.
CTET Cut Off 2024, Minimum Qualifying Marks, Download Steps
CTET Cut Off 2024: Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the CTET Cut Off 2024 on the official website, ctet.nic.in. The candidates have to download the CTET Cut Off Marks to know about their selection status in the exam.
Candidates whose marks are more than the minimum cut off marks are considered for CTET Certificate. Whereas, those who fail to secure marks more than the category-wise CTET Cut Off Marks 2024. The successful candidates will be kept in the final merit list whereas those who fail to do so will be disqualified from the selection process.
