1. Who is the Father of Constitution Day?
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is known as father of the Indian constitution. Since 2015, on 125th birth anniversary of the government of India decided to celebrate 26th November as constitution Day every year.
2. What is the oath of Constitution Day of India?
The oath was : “I, as a citizen of India, affirm my faith in the universal principle of civilized society, namely that every dispute between citizens, should be settled by peaceful means; and, in view of the growing danger to the unity and integrity of the country, I hereby pledge myself never to resort to physical violence in the case of any dispute, whether in my neighborhood or in any other part of India”.

The slogan on Constitution day is – “The glory of justice and the majesty of laws are created not just by the Constitution, nor by the courts, nor by the officers of the law, nor by the lawyers but by the men and women who constitute our society who are the protectors of the law as they are themselves protected by the law”.
4. Who started Indian Constitution Day?
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 19th November 2015 took decision and notified the Government of India to celebrate 26 November as Constitution day. on 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effects from 26th January 1950.

Previously Constitution Day was celebrated as Law Day. But to promote constitutional values among citizens, this day was decided for celebrating Constitution Day since 2015.
