First Year: Joining Societies and Building Foundations
In my first year, I eagerly joined several societies to broaden my horizons and enhance my skills beyond the classroom. I became an active member of:
- CAPS (Christites Association for Professional Development): This society was instrumental in honing my professional skills. Through various workshops, seminars, and mock interviews, I developed a solid foundation in resume building, public speaking, and career planning. CAPS also provided networking opportunities with industry professionals, which gave me a clearer understanding of my career path.
- CSA (Centre for Social Action): Joining CSA was a deeply fulfilling experience. Engaging in community service and social causes helped me develop empathy and a sense of responsibility toward society. Whether it was organizing awareness campaigns or participating in clean-up drives, these activities instilled a sense of purpose and community involvement in me.
- Student Wing: As a part of the Student Wing, I dedicated time to assisting my fellow classmates in academic and extracurricular activities. This role not only allowed me to strengthen my leadership skills but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Helping others succeed became a source of immense satisfaction and learning.
Christ University Campus Experience for B.Tech
My journey at Christ University, Kengeri campus, pursuing a B.Tech in Information Technology since August 2022 has been transformative and enriching in numerous ways. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I was greeted with a vibrant community and a plethora of opportunities to grow both academically and personally.
