Solution:
24 can be written as 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 16 and 22 can be written as 2 × 2 = 4. So 16 > 4 .
Therefore 24 is greater than 22 .
Example 3: Compare 12/2 and 9/3 and Find out which is greater?
Solution:
12/2 equals to 6 and 9/3 equals to 3.
So that, 6 > 3 which implies that 12/2 is greater than 9/3.
