WhatsApp to soon allow travellers to book bus tickets in Delhi
Delhi government officials want to digitize the entire bus ride process. This is because the Delhi Metro’s WhatsApp booking system worked so smoothly. Now, the city’s Transport Department wants to make buying tickets online for the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and cluster buses easier. Thanks to technology, people will be able to reserve seats on buses thanks to technology quickly, so they won’t have to wait in long lines or look for the correct change.
The local government’s Transport Department recently said they are building a digital booking system for DTC and cluster buses that will work with WhatsApp. Kailash Gahlot, our Minister of Transportation, said, “We have been a leader in bringing technology to different areas of transportation.” Because of the booking system built on Facebook Messenger, more and more people will buy tickets online.
