How to Create a Custom Table Style

Step 1: Create a Table

Open Excel and create a table or select an existing table that you want to apply the custom style to.

Step 2: Go to the “Table Tools Design” Tab

Navigate to the “Table Tools Design” tab in the ribbon.

Step 3: Open the Table Styles Options

In the “Table Styles” group, click the “More” button (usually a small arrow or icon in the bottom-right corner).

Step 4: Select “New Table Style”

At the bottom of the Table Styles gallery, select “New Table Style.”

Step 5: Name Your Style

In the “New Table Style” dialog box, give your custom style a name in the “Name” field.

Step 6: Set Formatting Options

After providing the name click on the “format”. Format the table style available as per your need and requirements.

Step 7: Click “OK”

Once satisfied, click “OK” to save your custom table style.

Step 8: Apply the Custom Style

Apply the Custom Style from the table style option in the custom section
