How to Create Stacks on Google Photos

Now, how can you create “Stacks” on Google Photos? So, it’s very simple for both Android and iOS users. Follow these simple steps for the same-

Step 1: Open the Photos app on your device

Open the Google Photos app on your iOS or Android devices. If you are a new user, log in with Gmail account credentials.

Step 2: Browse your photos

Go through your media library. Events, albums, or even your whole collection can be selected. Hold down the first picture you want to stack.

Step 3: Go to the menu (three dots) Icon and Preview your stack

You may easily group related images or videos by dragging and dropping them. There will be a sneak peek of the stack as it forms, along with an approximation of the number of images.

Step 4: Create your stack

Hold down the option until you’ve added all the specified photographs. The selected “top pick” image and the total number of stacked items will be displayed in the newly constructed stack.

With AI, Google Photos can now automatically group similar images and create albums for screenshots and document photos that are easy to access.

“Stack” is a wonderful feature by Google for the Photos app, and now it has also been rolling out for Android users. It allows you to quickly and easily organize multiple photos simultaneously. These newly captured photos will merge into one seamless grid cell for everybody to see.

Simultaneously, you have the option to select “Selected items only” (which only includes the top pick) or “Includes Photo stacks” (which includes everything) when sharing or adding frames to albums.

Another option is to “unstack an entire photo stack” by long-pressing on the stack and tapping “Unstack photos.” It will allow you to examine each photo in the primary grid separately.

Although it is still in its early stages of availability, Google has launched Photo Stacks to Android after first releasing it for iOS.
