How to Get Data about Your Assets
Asset analytics help you understand how well your assets are doing. You can find out which assets are becoming more popular, compare how they’re doing against others, and identify the top videos that are boosting asset performance. This information gets updated every day, but there might be a delay of a few days. Here’s how you can check the data for your assets
Step 1: Log in to Studio Content Manager and Click on Analytics
Log in to Studio Content Manager. click on Analytics in the left menu. Look at the Overview tab to see the Top Real-time section, showing changes in videos.
Step 2: Click on See More
First, go to Analytics, and then click on “See More” in the top right corner. After that, you can view the live assets for your content.
View your earnings metrics
To view your earnings metrics, go to the Analytics page and click on the Revenue tab.
- Estimated earnings data is updated daily.
- There is a data delay of about 2 days for estimated earnings data in YouTube Analytics.
- Keep in mind that the estimated earnings data doesn’t reflect invalid activity adjustments in real-time . The final revenue data reported in downloadable financial reports may differ from YouTube Analytics data.
Use advanced mode
Explore more detailed insights into your channels, content, and audience with YouTube Analytics in advanced mode. This feature allows you to delve into specific data, comparing content performance metrics and facilitating data export. Here’s how to access advanced mode:
Navigate to Analytics in the left menu. click ADVANCED MODE in the top-right corner.
Upon accessing YouTube Analytics Advanced Mode, your initial step should be configuring the tool to showcase specific content types and timeframes for analysis. Utilize the Search Bar (1), Date Range (2), and Filter (3) to tailor your viewing experience.
Search Bar:
By default, YouTube Analytics Advanced Mode presents an overview of your entire channel, providing a snapshot of its overall health and performance metrics. However, the Search Bar offers three distinct configurations:
- Videos: Allows you to delve into individual videos’ performance metrics, ideal for a detailed analysis of each video.

Date Range:
The default display spans the past 28 days, but the Date Range configuration tool empowers you to switch to specific timeframes such as the past three months, the past year, or the entire lifetime of your channel. Filter:
This unassuming yet powerful feature unlocks the true potential of YouTube Analytics Advanced Mode.
