How to Pay Road Tax Online?

• Go to the official VAHAN website at [https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/vahan/]
• Enter your vehicle’s registration number in the “Vehicle Registration Number” field.
• Click the “Proceed” button.
• Look for the “Online Services” section and click on it.
• From the list of available services, choose “Pay Vehicle Tax”.
• Enter the last five digits of your vehicle’s chassis number and click “Validate Regn_no/Chasi_no“.
• Click on “Generate OTP” to receive a one-time password on your registered mobile number. Enter the received OTP and click “Submit”.
• Update your vehicle’s insurance details if necessary.
• Carefully review the fee panel displayed on the screen. If everything is correct, click “Proceed“.
• Follow the instructions provided to make the online payment for your road tax.
• Once the payment is successful, a payment receipt will be generated. You can download and save this receipt for your records.

Your application will be forwarded to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for further processing.
