How to Register for APAAR ID Online?
First of all you should have a Digilocker account. In case you don’t have a Digilocker account, follow the following steps :
Step 1: Kindly visit https://www.digilocker.gov.in/ and click on Sign In.
Step 2: You need to enter your mobile number to register for the Digilocker. Next, you’ll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on the given number for verification purposes.
Step 3: After Entering the OTP, create a Username and Password for the Digilocker.
Step 4: Now Once you are inside the portal, add Aadhaar Number and verify. You have a Digilocker account now.
Once you have a Digilocker account, you may finish the APAAR ID Enrollment Online at abc.gov.in by following the instructions below:
Step 1: Login to the website abc.gov.in after which the homepage shall appear. In the top right side, click on My account > STUDENT
Step 2: It will redirect you to https://digilocker.meripehchaan.gov.in/signin. Enter your mobile number. And enter the pin.
Step 5: In the next window, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile (xxxxxxxxxx) and email (************@gmail.com). OTP will be valid for 10 Minutes.
Step 6: You will be then redirected to https://janparichay.meripehchaan.gov.in/ where you will see your name on the top right. Click on Academic Bank of credits from the options given below. A popup box will open. Click on Access Now
Step 7: A consent form will open where you need to check the tickboxes. Next click Allow.
Step 8: Your ABC Id will be generated. You need to share this ID with your academic institution for all credits to appear.
