How to Use a Saddle in Minecraft

1. Riding a Horse

To ride a horse using a saddle, you need to perform some necessary steps:

1. Tame the horse: To tame the horse you will need some wheat. Approach the horse and right click on it with wheat in your hand.
2. Sit on the horse: After the horse has heated enough wheat, it will let you sit on its back. Right-click on the horse to sit on it. If you are still not able to sit on its back, feed it more wheat.
3. Mount the Saddle: Once you successfully sat on its back, press ‘E’ to open Horse inventory and place the saddle in the desired location.

After successfully mounthig the saddle, you can now control the horse using w, a, s, d keys.

2. Riding a Pig

1. Find a Pig and right click on it with saddle in your hand. This will mount the saddle on the pig.
2. Right-click on the pig again to sit on it.
3. To control the pig you will need a stick with carrot attached to it. The pig will then follow the carrot. control the pig’s direction with your mouse.

3. Riding a Strider

1. Go to Nether and find a Strider
2. Right-click on a strider while holding a saddle in your hand.
3. Right-click again on the strider to sit on it.
4. After successfully sitting on the strider, you will need a stick with wrapped fungus on it to control the strider’s direction. Just keep the stick with wrapped fungus in your hand and direct the strider with mouse.

• You’ll need 3 leather and 2 iron ingots.
• Obtain leather by smelting raw beef or rabbit drops.
• Smelt iron ore or find iron ingots in chests or from iron golems.
