How to view Form 26AS ?
To view Form 26AS, you can follow the steps outlined below:
1. Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department of India, which is https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
2. Log in to your account using your User ID (PAN) and password. If you are a new user, you may need to register and create an account on the website.
3. After logging in, you will be directed to your dashboard.
4. Click on ‘e-File’ > ‘Income Tax Return’ and then click on ‘View Form 26AS’. Choose the current year as Assessment Year and choose HTML as the viewing option.
5. You will be redirected to the TRACES (TDS Reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling System) website.
6. On the TRACES website, you have two options to view your Form 26AS: either through Net Banking or by registering on the TRACES website.
