IEMJEE and WBJEE Application Form

The application form is released at the official website of WBJEE application form at https://wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee and IEMJEE application form at iemjee.uem.edu.in. The application process comprises of registration, filling form and uploading the required documents. Application form can be filled only in online mode. The steps to fill the application form are given below.

1. Registration : Visit the official website and submit the details regarding the candidate’s name, email id, mobile number and password. Select the details of the state and city from which you are applying for the exam and enter the captcha code to register successfully for the exam.
2. Filling application form in online mode: Log in to the official website with the User Id and password. Fill in the details of your educational qualification.
3. Uploading the photo and signature: Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature as per the specifications asked. The size must be less than 50 KB and the format must be JPEG or JPG.

IEM Admission Process

admission in IEM goes in the following process.

1. Fill in the application form.
2. Download admit Card – Candidates who register successfully for the exam can access the admit card on the officail website a week before the exam.
3. Appear for exam on the examination date.
4. Check for exam result .
5. Counselling – Once the WBJEE result is out for students need to choose a list of 30 different colleges or courses of different colleges. In councelling the students are alloted a college and a course as per thier rank and choices. IEMJEE student needs to choose a list of courses and colleges out of IEMK, UEMK, UEMJ.

Entrance Exam Syllabus

The WBJEE and IEMJEE syllabus is the syllabus of Class 12 for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry .It comprises all the topics and concepts that a candidate should prepare to qualify for the 12th exam. Both exams have exaclty similar syllabus and question pattern.

Entrance Exam Admit Card

After successful registration, all aspirants are allowed to download their admit card . Candidates without their admit cards will not be allowed to appear. Aspirants are advised to carry a valid and original photo ID proof at the time of the exam. Only Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter card or any valid photo ID is allowed.

Entrance Exam Result

The result will be declared online on their official website. Aspirants can access their results by logging in to the official website using their application no. and date of birth and password. Candidates who qualify will be eligible to participate in the counselling and allotment of seats.

Once the result of counselling is declsred, the sttudent must visit the campus and report the college to if they want to take admission or choose for an upgrade in the next round i.e., by not taking admission but you want to wait for better option in your college list without changing it.

WBJEE allows student for 3rd round, known as MOP-UP round, where students can select a new the college list.

I was alloted IEM in last round of i.e., mop up round.Most of the students waits for the last round as many withdraw from the counselling before that making it a good chance to get better college in last round.

Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) is prominent and one of the best private colleges in West Bengal. It is situated in Kolkata. In this post, I will be sharing my detailed admission experience at IEM covering the entrance examination and admission process. Previously before 2023, IEM was a registered college under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology(MAKAUT), West Bengal, formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology(WBUT) but after 2023 it was registered under the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Kolkata.

In IEM I took admission in the 2022-2026 batch through WBJEE in B.Tech. IEM offers b.tech in CSE, CSE(IOT), CSE(AI), CSE(AIML), CSE(IOTCSBT), CSBS, IT, IOT, ME, EE, and EEE. I prefer to choose Computer Science and Business Studies(CSBS). This was a new course introduced by TCS and Approved by AICTE.
