Preparation Strategies:
To prepare for the exam, I started early and made a study plan that included practising mock tests and solving previous years’ papers. I focused on individual topics such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics and made sure to cover all the important concepts. I also joined a coaching institute to get expert guidance and study material. Here’s your battle plan:
- Start Early and Stay Consistent:
- Begin well in advance to cover the vast syllabus.
- Consistency is key—daily study routines pay off.
- Know the Syllabus and Exam Pattern:
- Analyze the syllabus thoroughly.
- Understand the weightage of each topic.
- Stay updated with any pattern changes.
- Seek Guidance:
- Consult coaching institutes for clarity on difficult topics.
- Don’t hesitate to ask questions.
- Practice Time Management:
- Simulate exam conditions during practice tests.
- Allocate time wisely to each section.
Subject Focus:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics:
I focused on individual topics such as calculus, algebra, organic and inorganic chemistry, and mechanics, as these were the ones that were most likely to be asked in the exam. However, I made sure to cover all the topics as there was no way of knowing exactly what questions would be asked in the exam.
IIT-JEE Exam Experience
Competitive exams are like intellectual battlegrounds where candidates vie for victory.
Being a Science student, I appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which is a highly competitive exam for admission to engineering colleges in India.
