Installing OpenShot on Ubuntu
The latest OpenShot video editor can be installed in Ubuntu using either of the following two methods:
- From the official repository
- From the Personal Package Archive (PPA) repository

Jonathan Thomas launched the project in August 2008 with the goal of creating a reliable, free, and user-friendly video editor. Since version 2.1.0, the software has supported Windows, macOS, and Linux. We will install OpenShot Video Editor in the Ubuntu environment in this tutorial.
