Installing the Gnome Tweaks Tool

Step 1: Run the following command to install gnome tweaks:

sudo apt-get install gnome-tweaks

 

Step 2: Now gnome tweaks application has been successfully installed in the Linux Operating system. 

Step 3: While running the above command a lot of processes need to be restarted, therefore if prompted for such press Y.

Step 4: Now the operating system needs to be restarted before the application could be used. Therefore, restart the operating system after the previous step. 

Step 5: Enter the following command in the terminal:

gnome-tweaks

 

Step 6: A new window similar to this would have appeared:

 

Step 7: Now select the appearance tab from the left menu.

 

From this tab, you can change the appearance of your Linux Operating system.
