Aisha welcomed her younger brother Keita Sawandi Morris on April 17, 1977, born to Wonder and Simmons. Growing up in New Jersey with his mom and older sister, Keita attended Hartford College in Connecticut before co-founding Stay Gold, a record label in New York City.
