Linear Regression Equation
Linear regression line equation is written in the form:
y = a + bx
where,
- x is Independent Variable, Plotted along X-axis
- y is Dependent Variable, Plotted along Y-axis
The slope of the regression line is “b”, and the intercept value of regression line is “a”(the value of y when x = 0).
Linear Regression Formula
Linear regression is a statistical method that is used to predict the value of unknown data using other related data values. Linear regression is used to study the relationship between a dependent variable and an independent variable.
In this article, we will learn about, Linear Regression, Linear Regression Equation, Linear Equation Formulas, and others in detail.
