1. Vivek Express (Dibrugarh to Kanyakumari)

Distance: 4,218.6 km
Time: 74 hours 35 minutes
Route: This train covers a vast distance, starting from Dibrugarh in Assam (located in the northeastern part of India) and ending at Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu (situated in the southernmost part of the country).

The train traverse through nine states of India including: Assam, Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu and covers a distance of 4189 kilometres. The train makes 57 stops along its journey. It is a superfast train operated by Northeast Frontier Railway. The train service was started in 19th November, 2011. Vivek Express (now Vivek Super Fast Express) operates through four pairs of Express Trains. Passengers on this train get to experience the transition from the lush greenery of Assam to the coastal beauty of Tamil Nadu.

2. Thiruvananthapuram–Silchar Aronai Superfast Express

The Thiruvananthapuram–Silchar Aronai Superfast Express commenced its service on April 14, 1987.

3. Himsagar Express

5. Ajmer–Rameswaram Humsafar Express

Route: This train runs from Firozpur in Punjab( after the train extension from Ajmer to Firozpur)extension to fir, located in the northwestern part of India, to Rameswaram, a town in Tamil Nadu, situated in the southernmost part of the country.

As of October 2, 2023, this train route was extended to include Firozpur Cantonment, expanding its connectivity. Now the train is known as “Firozpur – Rameswaram Humsafar Express”. It became the longest-running Humsafar category train, surpassing the SMVT Bangalore Agartala Humsafar Express, and it ranks as the 5th longest train service by Indian Railways. It is Humsafar express train operated by Northern Railyway. Firozpur – Rameswaram Humsafar Express was inaugurated on September 27, 2018.It travels through eight states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. The train stops at 41 stations.

6. New Tinsukia–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express

Route: This train runs from New Tinsukia in Assam in north east of India to Bengaluru in Karnataka located in southern part of India.
