Make
The noun ‘make’ often refers to a product’s manufacturer. In other words, it refers to the manufacturer of the goods. When we talk about vehicles, the term “make” refers to the firms that manufacture them, i.e. car brands.
For example:
Automotive brands include Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Renault, Ferrari, Mazda, Honda, and Audi.
Difference between Make and Model
A product’s make and model are two terms that provide detailed information about it. We generally use these two phrases while discussing automobiles. For example, the term Ford Mustang includes both the make and the model; Ford is the make, while Mustang is the model.
