What is an exogamy marriage?
Exogamy marriage mandates that a person marry outside of their tribe, family, clan, or other social group or unit.
If one of the spouses detaches himself or herself, does the other partner have any rights?
The aggrieved party may file petition in the court for remedy if one spouse withdraws from the social and emotional support of the other without good reason, that is, with sound judgment that is just, fair, and reasonable. In certain situations, the court may order what is known as “restitution of conjugal rights,” which is the accused spouse’s return to their marital status with the other spouse.

The status of husband and wife is granted to the parties; children born after the marriage are granted legitimacy; and the husband and wife are granted the right to maintenance and property inheritance.

It is often used to refer to several husbands or wives in numerous marriages or spouse situations. Polygamy, or having numerous spouses, was a common tactic used to boost population numbers.
