How to use NPM In Chart.js
Step 1: Check Node.js and NPM versions. Open your terminal or command prompt and type the following commands to check if Node.js and NPM are installed:
node -v
npm -v
Step 2: Install Chart.js, Run the following command to install Chart.js globally using NPM:
npm install -g chart.js
Note: -g means we can install it globally.
If you want to install a specific version, you can use the following command:
npm install -g chart.js@3.7.0
Step 3: To ensure that Chart.js is installed successfully, check the version by running:
chartjs -v
You should see output similar to the following:
Chart.js: 4.4.1
After getting this output we know that Chart.js was successfully installed in our system. Now we can use it everywhere.
