MHT CET Results 2024- Tie Breaking Process
If two or more candidates score the same in MHT CET 2024, the CET Cell follows a tie-breaking policy to decide their ranking. Here’s how the policy works:
- Candidates with the fewest incorrect attempts in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology will be given priority in case of a tie.
- If the tie persists, those with the least number of incorrect attempts in Mathematics/Biology will be favored.
- If the tie still exists, candidates with fewer incorrect attempts in Chemistry will be given an advantage.
- If the tie persists further, those with higher marks in the Class 12 board exam will be prioritized.
- In the event of an ongoing tie, candidates who are older in age will be given preference.
