As the name suggests the molar concentration tells the concentration of the solute in terms of its mole. Molarity and Normality are two types of molar concentration which are widely used in chemistry and related field.

Molar concentration describes the concentration of the solute in a solution. Molar concentration is mostly measured in molarity which is described by dissolving the total number of moles of solute per litre of solution,i.e., M = mol/L.
