PRISM: A Colossal Showcase of Technical Excellence

It was not an ordinary tech fest, TECHFEST PRISM. It was the first of its kind in all colleges in Lucknow. This Techfest was a two-day event that occurred on the 8th and 9th of April 2024 in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the New Campus of the University of Lucknow. The event saw every department (Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Civil) hold its own set of quizzes and competitions to mark the technical brilliance that our city has....

The mind-boggling seminars

These seminars formed the core of PRISM. The scope of seminars was so wide with representations from industry giants like Quadrant and GitHub, and tech gurus such as Postman. They were more than just technical education; they were about motivating the young generation to become innovators or solvers of puzzles....

The Highlights

The event was a major function that exhibited the best from the departments like Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Civil. Every department had its quizzes, thus, each of them was competitive, which in turn generated a competitive atmosphere that was electrifying....

Hurdles and Successes

Organizing this event was not without its difficulties. Working together with various colleges, managing different activities, and coordinating a diverse range of events on campus – was an uphill task. However, our committed team worked together and we conquered every obstacle one at a time....

My Personal Experience

Writing for such a big event was both exciting and difficult. It was a difficult task for me to decide between the technical aspects and the overall experience of the event, as a result, I had to balance between them. I had to make sure that the content was lively, educative and most importantly, aimed towards our intended audience – B. Tech and technical course students, and all the tech people out there....
