NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality, educational background, and age restrictions are some of the prerequisites for NDA eligibility. Candidates who wish to apply for the NDA 2024 exam must fulfill the qualifying standards. The following are the 2024 NDA eligibility requirements:
NDA Age Limit
The NDA covers the age range of 16.5 to 19.5 years. The only applicants who can apply for NDA 1 2024 are single men and women who were born on July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008. To be eligible for the NDA 2 2024 exam, candidates must have been born between January 2, 2005, and January 1, 2008.
NDA Nationality
- Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Bhutan, Nepal, or Tibet, and must have arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the goal of settling there permanently.
- Applicants may also apply if they want to reside in India after migrating from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and east African nations such as Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda, or Vietnam.
- Foreign nationals must present an eligibility certificate issued by the Indian government, with the exception of Gorkhas.
NDA Educational Qualification
Anyone who passes or is enrolled in Class 12 may apply for the NDA 2024 exam. Physics, Chemistry, and Math should be taken in class twelve for students who plan to apply to the Air Force, Navy, and Naval Academies of the National Defense Academy. The Union Public Service Commission administers the NDA test (UPSC). The General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics are the two papers that make up the test. To advance to the next round, candidates must receive the minimum qualifying marks required in each paper as well as an overall aggregate.
Gender & Marital Status
Candidates of both genders may apply for the NDA 2024 exam. Until they have finished their training, candidates are not permitted to get married.
NDA Physical Standards
Candidates cannot take the exam if they are not in good physical condition.
NDA Exam Pattern 2024
One of the best military education institutions in the world is the National Defence Academy (NDA). The NDA exam is given twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to determine which applicant is most suited for admission. This test is normally given in two months: in September (NDA II) and April (NDA I). Only male applicants who fulfill the prerequisites for the twelfth grade are eligible to take this test.
