Setu Bharatam Yojana
The Setu Bharatam Yojana was initiated by the Indian government in 2016 under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highway with consideration of the significance of road safety. Through careful planning and project execution, Setu Bharatam hopes to create a robust transportation infrastructure. The Setu Bharatam focuses on building new bridges and renovating existing ones. By 2019, all national highways were also free of railroad crossings owing to the Setu Bharatam initiative.
