Phase 2: Technical Proficiency and Problem-Solving
NOTE: For the BTSA role, the second phase was the make-or-break stage, consisting of two rounds that evaluated candidates’ technical prowess and problem-solving abilities.
The Technical and Case Solving Round:
- The first round presented 12 SQL questions of moderate difficulty. In this round, a strong grasp of SQL syntax and concepts was paramount.
- A Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) question followed, with only Java and Python permitted for coding. C++ was not an option.
- Two SQL queries were also part of this round, and they proved to be tricky. Familiarity with the schema and table structures was essential for tackling these questions.
Round 2: The Final Technical and HR Interview
- The last round of the second phase combined technical and HR aspects, and its intensity varied depending on the interviewer.
- Candidates were expected to have a solid understanding of the programming language used for the DSA problem, as well as knowledge of guesstimates, networking, and business acumen.
