Lake Iliamna is located in southwest Alaska, between Cook Inlet and Kvichak Bay, at the northern tip of the Alaska Peninsula. It’s the biggest lake in Alaska, the seventh biggest in the US, and the twenty-fourth biggest in North America. The total surface area of the lake is 2,626 sq. km.
- Its waters discharge into Bristol Bay via the Kvichak River.
