Formula of the slope is given by the ratio of change in the y coordinate to the change in the x coordinate, which can be written mathematically as
Slope = Change in y coordinate/Change in x coordinate = Δy/Δx
If the inclination of the line with a positive x-axis is θ, then the slope is given as follows:
m = tan θ
