Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) is a big public university in Chengdu, China, mainly teaching science and engineering. It started back in 1896 and has three places where students study: Xipu, Jiulidi, and Emei. The university works with the Ministry of Education and is known for having graduate schools, making it one of the early “double first-class” universities.
