A Vibrant Extracurricular Landscape

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) at the University of Lucknow offers a dynamic extracurricular environment that complements the academic rigor. While the university itself does not organize events like fresher’s parties or farewell parties, these celebrations are organized within the hostel communities, fostering a sense of camaraderie among students.

Council of Student Activities

• FoET has established a Council of Student Activities to promote co-curricular and extra-curricular participation.
• This council comprises five councils: Literary, Technical, Fine Arts, Cultural, and Sports.
• Students are required to join at least two council activities, encouraging well-rounded development.

Earning General Proficiency (GP) Marks

• Students can earn up to 50 marks as General Proficiency (GP) based on their performance and involvement in council activities.
• This system incentivizes active participation and recognizes students’ efforts beyond academics.

Through this comprehensive range of extracurricular activities, FoET aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals who can excel not only academically but also in various facets of personal growth and development.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) at the University of Lucknow has been imparting quality engineering education since its re-establishment in 2017. With a vision to be globally renowned for pioneering interdisciplinary technology and artificial intelligence, FoET offers B.Tech. programs in five core engineering branches, along with BCA and MCA programs.

Through our experience at FoET, we aim to produce dynamic, competent engineering professionals and leaders who can steer the nation towards a better future. The faculty provides students with internships, expert talks, live projects, workshops, and access to state-of-the-art labs to enhance their skills in engineering and artificial intelligence-related fields.
