The Interview Experience

A team of five individuals, including four alumni from our campus and one HR representative, visited our campus to conduct interviews for positions at Shipsy. The interview commenced with introductions from the team members, followed by an overview of Shipsy and the nature of their work. They showed particular interest in candidates’ understanding of the company and noted the names of those who actively engaged with their questions.

Round 1: Mini-Hackathon

Candidates were given two simple tasks related to Shipsy’s tech stack

• Task-1: Use FastAPI and print the “Hello World” message
• Task 2: Configure Scrapy framework and display any institute name from their website

Successfully I have completed my two tasks and Qualified for the Second round

Round 2: Project Works Review

Those who advanced to the second round were asked to present their projects. The interviewers inquired about project-related details, including the tech stack used. Additionally, candidates were questioned on data structures and algorithms, and their coding profiles, such as their activity on platforms like LeetCode, GitHub, GFG,codingNinjas, and HackerRank were reviewed.

I have Shortlisted in Round 2 also. However, the interviewer suggested I improve my communication skills and express anything confidently.

Round 3: HR Round

Candidates who progressed to the third round underwent an interview with HR. The HR representative asked questions regarding candidates’ details, and their coding profiles, and requested proof of their work (gitHub).
