What are Flowers?
Angiosperms, or flowering plants, are classified as having reproductive organs called flowers. The variety of forms, sizes, colors, and scents that they display is astounding. Petals, sepals, stamens, pistils, and the container are the fundamental parts of a flower.

A Diagram of flower shows the internal and exterior components of the flower. The diagram of flower reproductive system helps get a clear idea of the reproductive parts of flowers along with their function. Every floral component attaches to the receptacle. Sepals function to protect the flower bud while it develops. The male reproductive organ known as the stamen has an anther that secretes pollen that is held aloft by a filament and contains male gametes. The female reproductive organ known as the pistil is made up of an ovary, containing the ovules and a stigma that collects pollen.
