What did I learn?
- I learned to persuade people into doing something(no surprise, it was a marketing job) which I think is a nifty skill to have.
- Learned some WFH skills by coordinating with the Company virtually.
- Was able to get a taste of start-up culture which I don’t think was that bad.
Highway Connect Work Experience as Marketing Intern
Highway Connect is a start-up focused on Highway journeyers. I saw their job post on Instagram when I entered my second year.
It was a WFH marketing internship opportunity of 15 days at the company. Which had great perks for a starting intern(at least at that time, I thought so). You had to make people sign up for the app and depending on how many you onboard, you get a chance to earn a certificate, some money, and an LOR.
The app is there for both Android and IOS and if I remember correctly IOS ones had more value(probably because they have more people who pay for apps).
