What is a Banner?
Banners are everywhere in the marketing world, combining traditional and modern graphic aspects to make content and ads. They are a primary tool for conveying messages, promoting brands, and drawing attention. Briefly speaking, the banner can be viewed as a picture for the deeper meaning it has on the product, service, event, or idea. The platforms can consist of different kinds of media for example, photos displayed online, physical banners made of vinyl which hang in storefronts or at events.
The main purpose of a banner is as a visual device to facilitate and lead to a quick understanding of a brand’s message. While the information age offers an ocean of data for banners to swim in, banners continue to serve as the most succinct and effective medium for interaction between the advertiser and the viewer. They can either be online in the form of a website, social media platform, or an actual physical sign and they all work to their marketer’s communication strategies that cut across many industries.
