What is an Adapter?
An Adapter is a device that modifies the characteristics of one electrical device or system to another device, which is otherwise inconsistent. Some alter power or communication characteristics, while others change the physical shape of one connection to another.
Adapters are frequently sold as stand-alone solutions like adapter suites or in combination with integration middleware products like ESBs, integration suites, or portal servers. Technical and application adapters are two high-level groups among the many adapters.
What is an Adapter?
An Adapter can be either a physical component (device) or software that allows two or more incompatible devices to be joined together to transmit and receive data. It often establishes a physical connection between devices or systems, allowing them to communicate and exchange data.
