What is Plasma?
Plasma is the fourth state of matter and it is not easily seen in our surroundings, it consists of particles with very high kinetic energy. The plasma state of matter can be made by taking noble gases and passing very high volt electricity. The plasma is seen in very few places around us, such as Neon Signs, CFLs, Stars, etc are made up of the plasma.
States of Matter: Solid, Liquid, Gas and Plasma
Matter is made up of tiny particles. These particles are such small that we cannot see them by the naked eye. What ever we see in nature is made up of matter. Different matter exist in different form. These forms are called states of matter.
State of Matter or Phases of Matter is defined as the form in which the matter exists around us. There are commonly 3 states of Matter i.e. Solid, Liquid and Gas. Along with this, there are two more states of Matter i.e. Plasma and Bose Einstein Condensate.
We have explained the States of Matter in detail with diagram and properties below.
