Atomic elements exist as individual atoms. Molecular elements exist as molecules. In Atomic elements individual atoms are stable. In Molecular elements, individual atoms are not stable. In essence, atomic elements are standalone atoms, while molecular elements are made up of clusters of those same atoms bonded together.
