Working of Display Port
The display port works similarly to the technologies that are used by the Ethernet or USB connectors, it works by supporting multiple amounts of data streams that are independent, since this is an advanced interface it can be used with up to six monitors chained with one another.
For the control and management of the device, there is also an auxiliary channel present in the display port, in the newer version of the display port (version 1.2) the auxiliary channel has been increased from the previous 1 to a massive 720 Mbps which helps in the faster transfer of the data with the USB 2.0.
