This story is also an island adventure where a high school boy named Hodaka leaves his home and moves to Tokyo on an isolated island. Gradually the main character realizes that he has no money for living so he applies for jobs. He gets a job as a writer in a strange occult magazine trying to cope up with his needs.
Mostly the boy lives in isolation and does not like to meet people. Busy with his life he meets a woman named Hina who has a very cheerful personality and powers to stop rain and make clear sky. Hina lives with her younger brother thereby Hodaka gets attracted to Hina and the story revolves around their own adventure of life.
