Technical Interview Round 1
As I proceeded to take the aptitude test, I was able to be selected for the first technical interview. This round was conducted through a video call to ensure that all the participants were in compliance with the social distance policy resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The interviewer first asked general questions about the candidate and then started asking questons related to the field. Topics covered included:
- Programming: I was compelled to provide code snippets in C/C++, while Java code snippets were requested. These problems started with string manipulation and progressed to more complex data manipulation within a data structure.
- Data Structures and Algorithms: Interrogations that were common included those on simple concepts such as linked lists, binary trees, sorting, and search algorithms. There were moments when I needed to justify the methods used and, occasionally, even the algorithm itself.
- Projects: It was nice to have a discussion as to the projects that I indicated in my resume. I had to give some information about myself and my organization, as well as about the technologies used and the difficulties I encountered during the project.
Einfochips Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2021
In 2021, due to the coronavirus outbreak and the evolving nature of its impacts, the Einfochips Corp. conducted an on-campus recruitment drive in our college. Many of the meetings were conducted face-to-face; some were done via Skype; hence, it was quite a differential and interactive process for all the participants. The following section will give a chronological description of events that took place during the Einfochips interview process, starting with my first interview at the company.
